Amazing 1953 Fender Tweed Deluxe 5C3, known for the creamiest, sweetest tone to be had. I LOVE this circuit!

SN 1615, Tube Chart code "CL" - Dating this amp to December, 1953.

EXCELLENT OPERATING CONDITION!

The early 5C3 circuits used octal preamp tubes!

Cosmetically, it shows its age; the tweed has an amazing patina to it, with expected wear, visible in the pictures.

It has the vibe of a roadhouse classic!

The grill has faded to a chocolate brown, and the control panel is still very shiny with minimal rust.

Chicken head knobs are in great shape.

The handle is a non-original leather one, and the power cord has been upgraded to a grounded unit for safety.

The speaker is a Jensen Alnico 5 PM Concert Series P12Q; it sounds fantastic, as only a 1950’s speaker can!
