Product Description

Here is a sweet 1955 Les Paul Custom!

Guitar sounds amazing! The original Alnico neck pickup is one of the best sounds I've heard in a Les Paul!

This guitar has mostly original parts including pickups and electronics, bridge, tailpiece, control covers, and trussrod cover.

As you can see in the pictures the guitar has had the fretboard replaced. It was replaced in 1969 with a 1968 SG fretboard. This was fairly common back in the day because many people thought the necks were too wide on these so they would put the SG fretboard on and shave the sides of the neck a little. That is what has been done here making for a very comfortable playing neck.

The waffle back tuners have been replaced with grovers but you could always correct that. Original waffle back tuners sell for 400-500 a set.

There is a tiny piece of binding that has been repaired on the headstock in the upper left. It's 1/2" long.

The nut width is 1 1/2".

1 knob is replaced. Some of the screws are not original.

The guitar comes with a 60's square Gibson hard case.

This model in excellent condition would be $25,000-$30,000. This one is priced to moved fast!!!
